LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A new Trafalgar Group poll released on Friday shows GOP gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon closing in on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
The poll shows a less than six-point spread between the two candidates. Whitmer has 50.9% and Dixon boasts 45.1%.

The poll was conducted September 24 through September 28 with 1,075 participants. Democratic participants were 54.5% and Republican participants were 37.1%. No party represented 8.4%.
The margin of error was 2.9%.
This poll comes on the eve of the rally in Warren, where former President Donald Trump will stump for Dixon. He endorsed Dixon four days before the August 2 primary election.
The general election is November 8.
