ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source)- Graduate employees at U of M went on strike Wednesday to protest for a living wage. At issue is wage increases along increased childcare subsidies and co-pays on mental health. The union and University are not close to an agreement. Officials say all classes will go on as planned. The University says it will seek a court order to force the strikers back to work as the previous contract bars interfering in university operations.
