LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The Michigan State University board is being pressured by Lansing lawmakers to release documents related to Larry Nassar.
A bipartisan group of legislators sent a letter to the Michigan State University Board of Trustees calling on them to release nearly 6,000 documents tied to the investigation of disgraced former sports doctor Larry Nassar.
Lawmakers want the documents sent to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office.
Forty-seven House and Senate members signed the letter asking for a quick release of the documents to Nessel’s office. They said this next step will help reestablish trust with the public.
