LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s support among likely Michigan voters is declining.
The drop is tied to questions regarding her nursing home coronavirus policy and a secret deal she struck with former Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon.

The mid-March poll showed 63% of respondents opposed her nursing home policy, while 72% did not agree with Gordon’s separation terms which Republicans called “hush money.”
In addition, President Biden’s approval rating among Michigan voters during his first two months in office hovered around 50 percent.
