KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Pfizer and BioNTech announced Monday that a smaller dose of its COVID-19 vaccine works to develop antibodies for kids ages 5 to 11.
Pfizer officials say two doses given three weeks apart had a similar effect to the dosage for people ages 16-25 years of age.

In addition, the side effects are roughly the same. Pfizer plans to submit this information to regulators soon.
Clinical data for children as young as six-months-old could be available sometime this fall.
