LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Prices at gas pumps in Michigan have dropped three cents in the last week, but fills ups are still costing drivers $1.09 more per gallon than this time last year.

AAA reports the average price is now $3.21 per gallon for regular unleaded. Gas stations in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Marquette charged the highest prices. Traverse City, Flint and Grand Rapids saw the lowest prices.

Ongoing high crude oil prices will keep gas prices elevated for the foreseeable future, reports AAA.
