LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The state of Michigan is making things more convenient when it comes to registering vehicles.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed legislation allowing Michigan residents to renew their vehicles every two years instead of having to do it every 12 months.

No money will be saved, but supporters say it will make the process more convenient.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says the new law, which will take effect next year, will help them provide better and more convenient services.
