LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Gas prices in Michigan are up eight-cents per gallon compared to a week ago.

AAA Michigan says the average price is $3.18. That price is down four-cents from last month but one dollar higher than last year.

Gas stations in Grand Rapids boasted the lowest prices in the state while the Marquette area charged the highest prices.
