LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Pfizer announced early Tuesday that a study is underway comparing its original COVID-19 vaccine with doses specially tweaked to match the Omicron variant.

The Omicron variant has been described by health officials as a more contagious variant with less severe symptoms.
