LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Gas prices in Michigan have shot up 18-cents in the past week after Russia invaded Ukraine.
AAA Michigan says the average price is now $3.55 per gallon, which is 33-cents more than last month. It marks a 79-cent increase in the past year.

Gas stations in the Saginaw and Lansing areas charged the highest prices in the state while Traverse City and metro Detroit’s charged the least for a gallon of gas.
