GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – A new task force is being formed to combat the growing problem of human trafficking.

Salvation Army and Solutions to End Exploitation and the Kent County Sheriff’s Office are forming the task force.

They have been awarded a three-year grant of $750,000.

Sheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young says the task force will take about two-and-a-half-years to be formed.
