LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The Michigan House voted 63-to-39 to suspend Michigan’s gas tax of 27-cents-per-gallon for six months.
The Senate is expected to pass the bill next week.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer is not in favor of suspending the state gas tax, but has asked Congress to pause the federal 18-cent-per-gallon tax.
