GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Two Michigan residents have just landed in the Guinness Book of World Records for their love of skiing.  28-year-old Kyle Kelly of Caledonia, and 29-year-old Brad Dykstra of Hopkins now hold the record for skiing the most ski areas in Michigan in a 24-hour period.

The pair traveled 763 miles across Michigan, and skied at 22 different locations this past Saturday and Sunday. They broke the previous record set in Japan in 2017.

Kelley and Dykstra described Michigan as the perfect state to attempt this world record because of the number of ski resorts in the region.
