LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The average gas price in Michigan is down a dime over the past week.

AAA Michigan says the price is now $4.04 per gallon. That is 30-cents higher than a month ago and $1.20 more than last year.

Marquette remains the most expensive area for gas at $4.22 cents a gallon while Benton Harbor, Grand Rapids, and Saginaw all average the lowest in Michigan at $3.97.
