LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Gas prices continue to rise in Michigan.
As of early Monday morning, AAA Michigan reported that prices have jumped 16 cents in the past week while the statewide average is $5.22 per gallon.

Drivers are now paying an average of $78 to fill up a 15-gallon tank of gas.
Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Flint gas stations charged the highest prices while Traverse City and the Saginaw-Midland-Bay City areas boasted the lowest prices.
