Ezequiel Duran’s bases-loaded triple with two outs in the top of the ninth inning rallied the Texas Rangers to a stunning 3-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night at Comerica Park in Detroit.  It’s the Tigers 5th straight loss, and sixth loss in the last seven games.

The loss overshadowed a great pitching performance by Tigers starting pitcher Beau Briske.  The rookie threw seven innings of three-hit ball.  Briske struck out six while walking two in 94 pitches thrown.  Eric Haase and Miguel Cabrera each had two hits for the Tigers.
