LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel took to her personal Twitter account over the weekend to take a political swing at her opponent, GOP attorney general candidate Matt DePerno, and Republican gubernatorial hopeful Ryan Kelley.
In the tweet, Nessel appeared to make fun of the duo for wearing matching outfits.

Below in the same Twitter thread, Nessel alluded to Kelley’s alleged involvement in the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

While Nessel’s tweet garnered some support, not everyone appreciated the state’s top law enforcement official’s comments.

DePerno did not seem phased by his opponent’s tweets.

Kelley did not address this interaction specifically, but did call Nessel “corrupt.”
