GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – GOP gubernatorial frontrunner Tudor Dixon appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News Wednesday night to discuss a recent poll showing Dixon gaining ground on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and cutting Whitmer’s lead in half in just one month.
In addition, recent polling shows Dixon with an 11 point lead, pulling away from the four other GOP candidates who will appear on the August 2 primary ballot.

Dixon cast the race as a “conservative mom versus a far-left birthing parent,” a reference to the National Education Association’s (NEA) recent move to eliminate the word “mother” in favor of the new term.
Whitmer also recently referred to women as “menstruating people,” which Dixon cited as another indication of the extreme view leftists are taking.
Dixon appears to be consolidating support across the state. She’s earned endorsements from the Right-to-Life PAC of Michigan, the Police Officers Association of Michigan, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, the Associated Builders & Contractors of Michigan, Detroit News, former Governor John Engler, U.S. Representatives Bill Huizenga & Lisa McClain, former Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus, and twenty Michigan legislators.
