EMMET COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 48-year-old Emmet County woman turned herself in after she said she shot her boyfriend on Wednesday night.
Emmet County deputies reported to a home on State Road in Friendship Township where they found the woman. Reports say she was heavily intoxicated while holding a gun. They also found a deceased 50-year-old male with bullet wounds.
The woman, whose name has not been released, is facing charges of open murder and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. The investigation is ongoing.
