GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Grand Rapids company is stepping up to make a monkeypox vaccine.

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing announced on Friday it is working with Bavarian Nordic, the original maker in Denmark of the smallpox and monkeypox vaccine.

The company’s president says the partnership will speed up the process, which is slated to be up and running in Grand Rapids in a few months.
