MUSKEGON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Monday is expected to be a dangerous day for all West Michigan beaches. Strong currents and large waves will make swimming conditions rough.
The National Weather Service issued a Beach Hazards Statement for Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, and Van Buren counties through Monday night.

In addition, there is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms Monday night, which will push wave heights to an upwards of six feet. That should gradually taper off to one to three feet by Tuesday.
