MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A healthcare worker in Macomb County is facing serious charges after an undercover sting operation.

A 50-year-old male nurse practitioner is accused of trying to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex.

An undercover Michigan State Police trooper came across an ad on a dating site where the user was looking for “straight, married, young men and men in uniform.”

Police say the man sent more than 1,100 text messages to the trooper posing as the teen.
