OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Human trafficking survivors in Oakland County are getting community support to rebuild their lives.

The pilot program is called “Survivor To Thriver” and will pay survivors to receive professional development help to launch a new career.

Victim advocate Allison Mercer says survivors are everywhere and says it’s a terrific program offered by the county.
