BROOKLYN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – There won’t be any speed traps Brooklyn this weekend as NASCAR invades Michigan. The Michigan International Speedway will be alive and popping for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

The raceway opened up on Friday night with an infield concert at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday is slated to feature family activities including a Fan Plaza, NASCAR Kids Zone, and a Pit Suite Open. Dueling Pianos and the Roaming Magician and Stilt Walkers will their way to the midway from 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

NASCAR Xfinity series and practice happens in the morning with the NASCAR Cup Series qualifying and practice for two hours in the afternoon. Starting at 3:30 p.m. the New Holland 250 Race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series will start with the Henry Ford Health 200 (ARCA Menards Series) is at 6:30 p.m. The night will conclude with fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

Sunday will feature trackside interviews with Brad Keselowski, Erik Jones, and Kyle Busch. The Red Carpet event starts at 2:20 p.m. as the NASCAR Cup Series Intros happen at 2:30 p.m. and the FireKeepers Casino 400 at 3:00 p.m.
