DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Only scoring one run in the game, Detroit fell in the three-game series only winning on Tuesday. Minnesota took an early 2-0 lead and held onto a three-run win, 4-1. Detroit had only four hits scoring their lone run in the fifth inning.

Harold Castro was the offense for the Tigers earning three of the four hits. Detroit pulled to within one run, 2-1, in the fifth inning on a Riley Greene single to center field as Willi Castro came in. Minnesota then added a run in the sixth and eighth innings to finish off the scoring.

Tyler Alexander took the loss going five innings with two earned runs and five strikeouts.

Detroit is finally back home on Thursday hosting Tampa Bay at 7:10 p.m.
