HOUGHTON COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – What seemed like an average house fire on Friday night in the Upper Peninsula now has local fire officials scratching their heads.

The suspicious fire at 510 Kilmar Street in Lake Linden stumped local officials and forced them to call the State Fire Marshal to investigate.

The house was empty at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
