ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Ann Arbor City Council has approved a study to explore the possibility of a publicly-owned power utility.

The study will be performed by 5 Lakes Energy and NewGen Strategies and will explore ways the city could use 100 percent renewable energy to power a new grid.
