LAPEER, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) said a treatment facility will be back up and running on September 21.
GLWA says water main operations will resume at their Lake Huron treatment facility after crew finish a repair project promoted by a water main break on August 13.

Crews have completed the installation of new pipes. GLWA says the main must now be filled with water and then flushed and disinfected.
The facility is asking people to continue limiting outdoor water usage until the main is operational.
