MARQUETTE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A long-time business is closing up shop in the Upper Peninsula.
Jean Kay’s Pasties and Sub Shop in Marquette is closing on December 31 after 47 years in business.

Owner Brian Harsch says he’s now 66 and wants to spend time with his wife and their new puppy.
Harsch says they started as a donut shop and bakery in 1975 and credits his parents with its success.
The restaurant sells around 500 pasties every day.
