LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – According to the Biden administration, Michigan will receive $36 million to fight the overdose epidemic.
United States officials say there have been 108,000 fatal drug overdoses in the past 12 months, which breaks down to one death every five minutes.

Last week, White House officials announced the funding to assist in prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction services.
In addition, grants have been awarded to seven tribes in Michigan.
