LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Be on the lookout for a possible letter coming in the mail from the IRS.

An estimated 9 million Americans will be receiving a letter stating they have not claimed their stimulus payments, earned income tax credits, child tax credits, or other benefits.

Those who have left money on the table are usually people who are not required to file income taxes.

To receive the checks, individuals will have to fill out a tax return.
