Jury Finds Three Men Guilty in Connection to Gov. Whitmer Kidnapping Plot

JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – On Wednesday, a jury found three men guilty on all charges in connection with the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Jurors found that Joseph Morrison, Pete Musico, and Paul Bellar were guilty of all three counts they each faced.

The three men were accused of providing assistance in the summer of 2020 when a leader of the plot drilled with their paramilitary group, the Wolverine Watchmen, at a rural property in Jackson County where Morrison and Musico live.

Two other men plead guilty; a jury acquitted two other men.

Morrison, Musico and Bellar will be sentenced on December 15.
