WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) — Former President Barack Obama is headed to Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin in the last three weeks of the 2022 campaign to give a boost to Democrats.

After campaigning in Atlanta on Oct. 28, Obama plan to visit Detroit and Milwaukee for events to help get out the vote.

In Michigan, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is running against GOP challenger Tudor Dixon. Both candidates sparred in their first debate on Thursday. Their second and final debate is on October 25.

The election is November 8.
