DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Beaumont hospitals are adding seven new robots to their robotic surgery program.
The health system says the addition will allow them to serve an additional 2,500 patients while also providing quicker recovery times, less pain, and smaller incisions.

Beaumont boasts a fleet of 24 robots that can perform surgeries at the eight hospitals and the children’s hospital.
Officials say the robots allow doctors to get into tighter spaces with less damage to a body.
