GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A winter storm watch is in effect for the Grand Rapids area through Saturday morning and could be extended as heavy snow is possible through Saturday night.

Lake effect snow is expected to be widespread in the area starting Thursday evening.
