The number of car-deer crashes in metro Detroit that resulted in serious injury are at a ten-year high.

Oakland County tops the state for the wrecks, with 1,853 in 2021.
Last year, crashes with deer killed ten people in Michigan and injured 1,449. November is when car-deer crashes happen the most.
