LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – People may notice their mail carriers working longer hours.

With the busy holiday shopping and shipping season now underway, USPS mail carriers will be making deliveries earlier and later.

Mail carriers will start servicing their routes as early as 6 a.m. and go as late as 8 p.m.

The USPS says the busiest time will be the two weeks before Christmas, but expects it to start picking up the week of December 5th.
