EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – On Wednesday afternoon, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office released the charges for the incident on October 29 at the University of Michigan. MSU defensive back Khary Crump is being charged with one count of felonious assault while the six other players will face misdemeanor charges.

MSU defensive star Jacoby Windmon is being charged with assault and battery while linebacker Itayvion “Tank” Brown, defensive backs Angelo Grose and Justin White and defensive ends Brandon Wright and Zion Young face one count of aggravated assault. All players are still suspended from the team and Malcolm Jones is the only player suspended that isn’t being charged.

 The University of Michigan Police Department, along with help from the Michigan State University Police and Michigan State Police, led the investigation. Their investigation was completed on November 12.

University of Michigan President Santa Ono said, “At the University of Michigan we appreciate the thoughtful, deliberate approach from the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office to this unfortunate incident. We also want to express our concern for all the players involved, especially those who were injured. The University of Michigan will continue to cooperate fully with any additional reviews of this matter.
