Trump has been touring the country supporting his slew of endorsed candidates in the lead-up to Tuesday’s midterm election.

FiveThirtyEight is predicting Republicans will take the U.S. Senate. Other pundits have speculated a “Red Wave” in which Republicans sweep races up and down the ballot and across the nation. This prediction is tied to what some refer to as the disastrous Biden administration which has overseen record-high inflation, rising gas prices, a clamp down on natural energy, and a preoccupation with the war in Ukraine.

In Michigan, the former president backed GOP gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon just four days before the August 2 primary. He’s also backed more than a dozen other candidates in races statewide.

Polls are open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
