GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Harbor Humane Animal Shelter in Ottawa County is putting out a plea to the community to boost adoptions and fostering.
The animal shelter took in two dozen cats last week alone and are housing more 200 felines with another 160 being fostered.

There are also dozens of dogs in their care.
The crisis has overwhelmed resources, and officials ask anyone who can adopt or foster an animal to contact Harbor Humane.
