HEMLOCK, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A corn storage dome in Saginaw County is still smoldering after fire broke out there on Sunday night.

The fire started sometime Sunday night at The Andersons agricultural storage and supply company in Hemlock. Dozens of crews were still at the scene Tuesday, some coming from as far away as Muskegon, Port Huron, and parts of Northern Michigan to help put out the fire.

There were no workers at the facility when the fire started and no injuries have been reported. Investigators have not determined how the fire started.

It’s unclear how much corn was destroyed.
