LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The area in Lansing known as the “Stadium District” will soon be home to more affordable housing.

Ohio-based development company Pivotal purchased 3.5 acres between Cedar and Larch streets on Friday which will soon be home to 132 new apartments.

Senior Vice President of Development Pete Schwiegeraht said the project will be two complexes with 66 units each. Stadium North Lofts will be for families and Stadium North Senior Lofts will be independent senior living.

Construction should start by the end of December and be complete in spring of 2024.
