EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Sandy Pierce, the senior executive vice president of Huntington National Bank, has been appointed to the Michigan State University Board of Trustees.

Her appointment by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer comes after the November resignation of Pat O’Keefe. Among other problems, O’Keefe cited “serious concerns” in his resignation letter to Gov. Whitmer over the resignation of former Business School Dean Sanjay Gupta and problems with the Board’s transparency.
