GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Grand Rapids Board of Education interview three finalists on Monday, Dec. 19 and determine which person will fill a vacant seat.
The interviews come after board member Kristian Grant was elected to the the Michigan House.

The board narrowed down the list after 19 people applied. The three that remain include:
- Jordoun Eatman, the Vice President of Engagement and Inclusion for Experience Grand Rapids.
- Travis Steffens, a Success Coach at Grand Rapids Community College
- Shanda Vaughn, a Recipient Rights Officer for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services
Mondays interviews will take place at the regularly scheduled board meeting at the district office. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.
