(Michigan News Source) – A thriller feature film for Amazon Studios that will be starring and produced by actress Nicole Kidman will have scenes from Holland, Michigan, and a casting agency has been looking for extras. The agency thanked everyone on Facebook on Wednesday saying “If you have sent in an email, we will add your info to our database. If we have a role for you, we will be in touch as the dates get closer. I appreciate your help in spreading the word!”

The thriller, based on Andrew Sodroski’s (Manhunt) script, will have the majority of the film shot in Nashville, Tennessee, but they will also be filming in Holland the week of April 17th of this year during tulip season for some “really big scenes” according to Allison. The movie is set in the year 2000 and according to the website Deadline the movie will involve “secrets that lurk beneath a Midwestern town with a Hitchcock bent.”

The Holland Sentinel describes the film as a “darkly humorous Fargo-esque thriller about a school teacher who suspects her husband may be a serial killer.”

The casting agency was looking for extras of all ages from children as young as five-years-old and adults up to the age of 75, asking for “families, students and grandparents.”

55-year old actress and producer Nicole Kidman has won an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Golden Globe Awards. She was previously married to Tom Cruise and is now the wife of country music singer, Keith Urban.
