With 3,103 points, he needs just 62 points to move into the top five all-time and 564 points to break Pete Maravich’s record of 3,667. He is also third in three-pointers at 492 and is 17 away from that record. Overall, he is only the second player in NCAA history to have 3,000 career points and 500 assists. In 128 consecutive games he has scored in double figures which is a NCAA record. One other NCAA record he holds is the freshmen record for most three-pointers made at 132 in the 2018-19 season.

Davis is a four-time All-Horizon League first-team selection, the Horizon League Freshman of the Year (2019), and the conference Player of the Year in 2022. This is the third time he has been a John Wooden Award nominee as he was also a Jerry West Award Top 10 finalist in 2020 along with a Bob Cousy award nominee in 2021.

Detroit Mercy is currently 6-11 and 2-4 in the Horizon League.
