SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Lake Superior State University has released their annual Banished Words List for 2023.

Coming in at number one for banished words is “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time).

The “Banished Words List” is a long-running tradition that started in 1976. This year the judges had to work through more than 1,500 submissions.
