SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The International 500 Snowmobile Race in Sault Ste. Marie is the Daytona 500 of the northern climates, and it kicks off this week.

The I-500 is the longest endurance race in the world, and it runs Monday, January 29 through Saturday, February 4.

Pole Qualifying begins Wednesday with different events at the track throughout the week.

The green flag will drop for the 54th running of the GFL I-500 on Saturday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m.
