GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A school in Grand Rapids that has been closed for nearly 20 years is looking for someone who is interested in buying or using it.

Grand Rapids Public Schools is accepting bids to use or purchase a former high school building. The old Adelante High School closed in 2004 and is currently vacant.

The building is 97 years old and officials want to see if anyone wants to repurpose the building.

If not, the Grand Rapids Board of Education has recommended the building be demolished.
