LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Mark your calendar, and grab your ice fishing supplies and warm gear. Free Fishing Weekend is coming back to Michigan next month.
Free Fishing Weekend is set for Feb. 18 and 19 and that means all fishing license fees will be waived for two days.

Residents and out-of-state visitors can fish on both inland and Great Lakes waters for all species of fish. However, all fishing regulations still apply.
Recreation passports are not required for entry into state parks and boating access sites during Free Fishing Weekend.
